About this activity

We are a Seasonal Agritourism Farm with lots of hands-on learning and fun for the entire family. We pride ourselves on being a Green Friendly farm. We like to educate the youth and their families on how we can reuse common items instead of sending them to our landfills. Many ideas are spread throughout the farm as well as many Recycling tips, techniques and ideas. We have farmer play areas, petting farm and mini donkey rides, food concessions, gift shop, covered pavilion, pumpkin patch in the fall, hayrides, 50 Foot slide and much more. Plan a day of fun here and just enjoy relaxing on the front porch and playing a game of checkers, or get up close and personal with all of our barnyard friends. Check out our garden. You might find some Colored Cotton growing in there. We welcome field trips, home school groups, playdates, parties, reunions, scouts, church groups and more to spend a day with us throughout the year by appointments only. Come back in the winter and see all of the Christmas lights, our Live Nativity, and Santa! In the spring we have a Eggscellent EGG HUNT with thousands of eggs for the taking. Summer Day Camp is also available for the youngsters. Remember to follow us on our facebook fan page or our website at www.BakerMountainFarm.com to see what is coming up next. Live entertainment visits periodically throughtout the year. Come visit our family owned and operated farm. Our family would love to meet yours!

We offer a full concession with hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks. Seasonally we have soups and other sandwiches available as well as lots of homemade goodies. Caramel and Candy apples are available periodically as well as cotton candy and ice cream.

Wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing. Not required but just easier to get around the farm and not hurt a toe. No food or drink permitted on the farm. No smoking on the farm for the safety of our guest and our animals. No pets allowed on the farm.

Our gift shops has lots of antiques and items for the adults. Unique Made in the USA games and toys for the kids as well as our big favorite "An Arrowhead in the Bottle". Kids will get to discover arrowheads on the Indian trail, but this one they can purchase at the gift shop and treasure.

We encourage teachers to let us know what lesson plans they are working on so we can help incorporate any of them here at the farm. We are happy to bring in math, science, reading, health/nutrition, or anything else they may like the kids to learn while visiting (numbers, alphabet, etc).

We do offer a handicap accessible port-a-potty and a separate changing room station just for our little ones.

We are a small farm of only 13 acres. Everything is open for the kids to run and play while the adults can sit back and relax. We have to admit.....it's hard not to feel like a kid again and play right along with them!
