How does the zoo help with animal welfare efforts?
They are all about the care of the animals as their whole ethos is to rescue abandoned animals. If you're not able to take care of an exotic animal, just give them a call and they will rescue or re-home it so you know it will be looked after!

The only refreshments they sell are bottled water and various chips.
What should we know to make the most of our visit?
Shows are offered at 11am, 1pm and 3pm for about 30 minutes each. Make sure you plan your trip around one of these three shows.

What makes this zoo a great field trip destination?
It's an amazing place to head for your field trip! They sit on 2.5 acres of land with a large amphitheater for outdoor presentations, as well as 5,000 sq ft of indoor space with over 800 exotic animals! Groups over 30 are available 7 days a week, by appointment only
Can we bring our own food for a picnic?
Feel free to bring your own food, and use their picnic tables! If you want to grab something locally, just grab a wristband and head on out to eat, then you can re-enter.
