About Cincinnati Skirball Museum

Located on the historic Cincinnati campus within the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the Cincinnati Skirball Museum is the first formally established Jewish museum in the USA, making it an invaluable experience for all who visit.

The purpose of the Cincinnati Skirball Museum is to preseve and interpret an incredibly rich collection of fine and and artifacts, that tell the vibrant story of the Cincinnati Jewish community, as well as the global Jewish history, culture, and religion through their permanent collection as well as rotating exhibits.  They also offer engaging public programs for visitors of all faiths, so whether you're introducing kids into their own Jewish religion, or wanting to teach the children about wonderful religions across the world, the Cincinnati Skirball Museum can help. 

As you stroll the exhibits, you might learn about notable figures across the centuries who shaped Cincinnati's communities. You might study the historic photographs that showcase Cincinnati's communities and people through time. 

The exhibition might focus on one specific notable artist, or sportstar, or perhaps it might be a gallery of paintings that catch your eye.
