Here you can explore four galleries, all showcasing some of the most amazing artworks by local and international artists (from all around the world!), plus the exhibitions address contemporary social issues through major biannual projects, so keep an eye out!

Also within the Gallery of Modern Art you'll find a library as well as the gallery shop where you can pick up a range inspired by the amazing collection. 

The Gallery of Modern Art also happens to be the main gallery of contemporary art in Glasgow, so you can see why it's so popular! You can also find a programme of temporary exhibitions as well as workshops too!

Gallery of Modern Art FAQ’s

There are baby changing facilities and baby feeding facilities

There is a cafe that is open every day during venue opening hours where you can pick up a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks!

The Gallery of Modern Art has five exhibition spaces presenting a changing programme of temporary exhibitions, so keep an eye on the programme so you can plan accordingly!

There is a store where you can pick up art related gifts and items, and souvenirs based around the collections

They love having school groups as long as you book in advance! They accept bookings for self-led educational groups and a small programme of facilitated workshops is also available for school groups.

There is wheelchair access to all public areas using the lifts, however no level access into the venue.

The gallery also has accessible toilet on the lower ground floor.

They also have a cloakroom as well as WiFi
