About Riverside Museum

To really immerse yourselves in the rich history of Glasgow, make a stop at the fascinating Riverside Museum!

This amazing museum can be found at the junction of the Rivers Kelvin and Clyde, and is home to Glasgow's incredible transport and technology collections, that are great for kids to see in person!

These collections have been gathered over the centuries, so you can just imagine the stories they will tell! The collections also reflect the important role that the city of Glasgow has played throughout the world, thanks to its invaluable contributions to industries such as shipbuilding, train manufacturing and engineering.

The Riverside Museum was even designed by internationally renowned architect, Dame Zaha Hadid, so make sure you look around and take in the buidling itself before exploring the amazing experiences insisde!

In fact, there are over 3,000 objects from the city's world-famous collections found within the exhibits, so make sure you spend some time really taking it all in!
