Pollok Country Park

Pollok Country Park is Glasgows largest park and has lots of woodlands and gardens for visitors to enjoy. The park is rich in rural history and is home to the world famous Burrell collection. 

The park has won a green flag award for the quality of it's park and green space. The park ranger is on hand to assist you to have a safe and enjoyable visit. Explore the beautiful walled gardens, wildlife garden and take a woodland walk. Maps can be purchased from the office too if you need it. 

There's lots of play parks and play areas with lots of play equipment to keep the kids happy, and picnic areas for you to sit back and relax on too. 

The Burrell Collection is one of the finest galleries in Glasgow, and you can see over 9,000 objects from the collection including paintings, sculptures and more. You'll also see the Highland cows on your visit too and have been a ficture here for over 180 years. 

The park covers 361 acres in total and there's lots of opportunities for the whole family to get outside and enjoy a woodland walk.
