Great family ski hill. Less crowds than Fortune, a little closer than Edelweiss. Exhibition on the backside is a great carving run on board or skis, it’s steep at the top followed by some nice rollers, all with a fairly even fall line and it is typically well groomed. It is arguably the best racing run in the region. The biggest problem in winter is the extremely slow lifts and the very small vertical drop. Consequently you spend a lot more time on the lifts than on the hill. The waterpark in the summer is bargain priced and reasonably well equipped. You will almost always have less lines than Calypso at fraction of the cost.

I have been skiing at mont-cascades, every weekend, for about 7 years. Prices for a tow ticket are about $30, which is fair. Decent amount of runs with an above average Snow Park section (extra $15 to tow ticket or season pass). During the summer there is a golf course and a water park, which ain’t cheap. Far better than Camp-Fortune, Eidelweiss or Vorlage put together (local ski hills). At the top of the main tow is an amazing view of Gatineau and the Gatineau River. The service can vary, if you speak english be nice. The person on the other side of the phone can be very rusty when it comes to English, if you have a huge problem with that, all the info in on the website anyway. Overall its a fantastic ski hill, but it can get cold, so dress warmly!

The price is about average for a good golf course and the course itself is fantastic. The front 9 is a great start and the back 9 gets totally dramatic; much harder but fantastically beautiful. The staff is great and seem to generally have fun. Ordering your food at the 9 tee and picking it up on the way to the 10 is also a great idea.I don’t think any golfers would be disappointed going there.

Terrible ski registration system. Tried multiple times to reach someone. Finally registered and teacher was a junior who gave up after 20 minutes of class with our son. Very expensive for 2 lessons which tjhey did not want to reimburse us. Try Packenham instead.
