Christmas Gifts!

It's nearly that time of year (yay!) and we have just spent the day making these cute goodies which the kids helped with!

On the left, is homemade fudge that the kids helped stuff. Our great-grandmother's recipe, it's a cute stocking filler for everyone who visits!

Next up - sloe gin! Of course, the kids won't be drinking it, but they helped pick the sloes about 4 months ago from our local nature reserve. It was a beautiful day, with our little hound, and we just used the dog's poo bags to collect those incredible sloes, added sugar with the gin, shook once a week and hey presto!

Finally. blackberry jam, again - the blackberries picked from our local nature reserve. It really makes a lovely day out, and a great idea for the stockings!

Kids love making up the tags too :)
