About Douglas Provincial Park

Douglas Park represents a wonderland of water-based recreational opportunities including swimming, sailing, boating, skiing, windsurfing and angling - the lake is home to 27 species of fish. Take a short hike inland on a trail that winds around patches of juniper and cacti, however, and you'll arrive in a desert-like landscape of active sand dunes that looks and feels nothing like Saskatchewan.

Enjoy sandy shorelines, large wooded campsites and sand dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see, the park is a perfect getaway for the whole fame! There are interpretive hiking trails, fishing and water activities such as canoeing to enjoy too! Nearby, you'll find an 18-hole golf course too for an outdoor adventure.
