About this activity

The Chinese Cultural Centre of Vancouver was founded in 1973 with the support of the government and of 53 community organizations along with that of many enthusiastic individuals. They promote and foster Chinese culture and art within the Chinese community and other cultural groups.

There's lots of regular events and workshops too. Including chinese calligraphy, painting, dancing and more! Just check their website for what's happening when and where before you decide to visit. They also hold performances and concerts too at the centre, including well known ones such as Music of the Night Concert Tour by Andrew Lloyd Webber, so keep an eye out!

The centre plays an active role in promoting diversity and inclusiveness as well as providing a dynamic multicultural hub for people of all ages and from all walks of lifes to enjoy the programs and activities. They strengthen the culture between Canada and Chines to inspire the next generation. They offer day trips, halloween parties and other seasonal events and much more for everyone to get involved!
