About this activity

The Capilano Suspension Bridge welcomes all kids to go on an adventure! Cross the bridge which hangs 230ft (70m) from the water and venture through the highest tree tops of North America. A memorable experience for everyone!

Enjoy the scenic view from thrilling new perspectives! On the bridge you'll be ablr to gaze at the North Shore mountains and take in the rushing river beneath you. You'll follow a boardwalk along a granite precipice on cliffwalk. The treetops adventure contains viewing platforms and suspension bridges that hang up high in the trees. 

The living forest will allow you to learn about the rainforest ecosystem through large panels on the forest florr. Meet birds of prey at the raptors ridge as get to know all about them from the dedicated team of handlers. 

There's also lots of programs for the little ones too! The Rainforest Explorers Program is a self-guided interactive program that allows children to learn all about the rainforest. Start at the treehouse and you'll receive a booklet to fill out as you make your through the path in the rainforest and engage in the fun activities along the way! You'll receive a reward on completion too!

Directions to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park from Downtown Vancouver: take the Stanley Park causeway over Lions Gate Bridge, take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive and then take a left up Capilano Road for 1.6 km (1 mile).
