There are SO many incredible places to explore in Western Australia, and the Stirling Range National Park is certainly one of those!
Located 100km north of Albany, this stunning national park is a great way for kids to explore the great outdoors - and we mean GREAT!
The national park is the only major mountain range within the southern half of the state, and some of those rugged peaks rise to over 1000m above sea level, which is pretty impressive!
There are stark cliff faces, incredible views, sheltered gullies, and amazing wildlife and wildflowers.
In fact, there are over 1500 species of flora within the park - and many of these can't be found anywhere else. It's a real Western Australian gem!
Keep an eye out of for the spectacular cloud formations that can be found over the peaks, and the park is even one of the few places that snow falls within the state. It really is that unique!
There is a beautiful bush camp should you want to spend the night, and a beautiful 42km scenic drive where you can really see some incredible vistas at the lookouts.
For those active families, Stirling Range National Pakr is the perfect place to strap on those hiking boots and take on the rugged wilderness. More suited for those older kids because it can be quite tough!
An amazing day out with nature and the family in Western Australia!
