I had a great experience here the staff was friendly and polite. I stumbled across this place while staying at the Holiday Inn nearby I was referred this place for kart racing and it was so much fun. The diner and alley isn't open yet but the racing and arcade is!

Michael Au: Your underage brother failed because he made a major mistake. It's called "Riding the Brakes". It damages the karts. If you owned any type of business, you wouldn't allow customers to damage your equipment. Especially with the special circumstance of someone who doesn't have a drivers license, NO/LITTLE experience driving... you expect them to let the kid go out and fly around going 45 mph without knowledge of how to properly brake (after being instructed)? I make GREAT times around the track, and yeah, I've spun out a couple times....Read More

To set up the full experience: my friends and I were taking our good brother from California for one more outing before he leaves. He was stoked - he was looking over the course map before we went and laying down strategy. He doesn't have a state issued license or ID, so our only option was to get him a racing license via the "race evaluation." That one was on us for not checking. Essentially the race evaluation has you go out onto the track to see if you're a safe driver. The cost is $26 for the evaluation. That does not include a race (another...Read More

I make GREAT times around the track, and yeah, I've spun out a couple times. But I don't damage the brakes through my runs.

Muneek: If you think Boomers or ANY place in Florida has better karts (besides buying your own "shifter karts" which go 100+ mph and getting on an outdoor track like the Speedway)... then you might be confusing the "Karting" at Xtreme with the Arcade racing.

Karting is EXHILARATING. I am addicted to pushing my lap times down and down - even if sometimes that means paying a second race to get a 0.02 second difference. It's not for everyone. But your review makes it look like Xtreme is the problem when really you just have zero understanding or respect for karting.

Disclaimer: I don't work there. I'm just a go kart addict!

That does not include a race (another $20). That's fine, on us. So my friend does fine - he doesn't run into walls, doesn't run into other people, and finishes with a respectable time. He fails the evaluation for using the breaks too often. In a vague explanation given by the pit crew, they said he "needed more practice and to try again was $14." The crew member admitted he wasn't sure why my friend failed and that he wasn't even present during the race. We asked what standard he was judged by because he was clearly safe and did not pose danger to others or himself. He was apparently too careful in his use of the breaks. There were 4 others being evaluated at the same time. Out of 5 people, one person passed - a guy who spun out twice after ramming into the walls. We left feeling like we were cheated. They are simply taking your money if you do the racing evaluation. They have no shame in it. There are no standards. It completely derailed our time out and brought everyone's morale down. We all felt like we didn't want to race anymore after that.
