Where are we going today?

Wild at Play is the first children's indoor playground on the Jersey City waterfront. Our goal is to share the joys of learning between you and your child. Not only will you have fun playing with your child, but you will learn the most important ways to nurture his or her development. Wild at Play, a 2300 square foot indoor playground, will offer a comprehensive program of play, music, art, and movement classes for children 3 months to 12 years old. Families in Jersey City will have a new place to invite friends, experience a uniquely themed birthday party, and so much more. Parents also can take advantage of support groups, special event series, and 'Family Fun Nights.' Our unique range of programs include music, dance (classical to cultural), martial arts, chess, and art, and are specifically designed to enhance and nurture your child’s overall development.

I had enrolled my son for the 20 week Early Enrichment Program (winter session) in January. His experience was so rewarding that i enrolled him for the summer session and now partially for the fall session too.
Initially, we did had some issues accepting the concept of gentle separation and the same did not seem to be working with my over possessive child, but the owner, who is also the class teacher handled my extremely sensitive kid so patiently and tactfully that my son today is not only attentive and confident but has evolved to be more independent,...Read More

I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time now as I had my daughter's first birthday last year party at Wild at Play. We also purchased a membership and play passes. My experience has been a good one. The owner, Maria, is actually very sweet and friendly; she has never given me any kind of attitude. As a matter of fact, she always takes the time to chat with me when I see her, and she always remembers my daughter (I find that to be a good sign.) I am a preschool teacher so I can be quite critical when it comes to places that provide...Read More

I would recommend the Early Enrichment Program at Wild at Play to the parents looking for a good pre-school prep for their kids. I have enrolled my daughter for winter and summer program (3days/week). I like the structure and concept of the program and could see a lot of progress in my child.Love the place, well maintained. The staff are friendly and great with children.According to me one has to believe in the approach (gentle separation) and trust the program as it gives your child to learn focus, discipline and group play. The program worked so...Read More

In my opinion, many of the negative reviews seem personal. We have been members since Wild at Play opened. I've never experienced the owner display any of the mentioned attitudes or tones with myself or anyone she's come in contact with, while I have been present. I've always witnessed the owner to be very welcoming to all families of all cultures, religions, orientations, etc. Someone stated there weren't any bathrooms for children. Not sure what Wild at Play that person went to, but they have two bathrooms. To sum it up, Wild at Play is a great...Read More

With three children ages 7, 5 and 1, I am constantly looking for fun, low-cost activities in the area. We have been going to Wild at Play for a year after buying discounted playspace passes (they are currently running a buy 5, get 5 free promotion). We have been members at every kid gym in the area and find the playspace to be the most affordable and flexible – it is open 9am-6pm weekdays and 9am-noon on Saturdays. Every other gym has limited hours, I love how I can show up whenever the baby wakes up from her nap and have my kids run off some...Read More

According to me one has to believe in the approach and trust the program. It’s been three sessions at Wild @ Play, I have never had any issues with the staff or anything else for that matter and the outcome has been positive.
I would certainly recommend Wild @ Play to any parent who is looking for a good pre-school prep for their kids. It is expensive but when you see your little one exceeding your expectations, you feel it is worth.

The playspace is beautiful. The kids at my daughter's party were never bored as they loved playing in the jungle gym. We also went for the St. Patricks Day party and my daughter had a blast!

This is an honest review from a mommy & teacher :)

My kids have had numerous birthday parties at Wild at Play and have attended nearly 50 parties there. We had nothing short of a great time. The staff has always been warm and welcoming. Reviews are helpful but there's nothing like having your own experience. I highly recommend checking Wild at Play out for yourselves. Just to note, I have no affiliation with this place and have nothing to gain from writing this review. Just giving my two cents on my experience!

We recently upgraded to membership when my kids signed up for two weeks of camp – they could not stop talking about their trips to Imagination Playground in NYC and the NJ Insect Museum.
