Keep in mind people: This is not a zoo… It’s more of a min-museum with several areas for different portable exhibits. Honestly, before today, I haven’t been back since 2007 (before the Globeology exhibit was completed). I wasn’t terribly impressed the first couple of times I’d been there: the same artwork, incredibly short tour, and of course, the “stuffed, dead” animals. It was nothing like what I was hoping or expecting at the time.Today, however, changed my mind: The Globeology exhibit was gorgeously rendered, the prices were incredibly reasonable ($14 per adult for the exhibits and a movie), and the place has been very well-kept. It was busy with a very large field trip of small children (which did make quite a lot of noise), but overall, the experience was peaceful, educational, and definitely fun. There was a beautiful miniature painting gallery, a fascinating Deep Abyss exhibit, and an incredible movie about Great White Sharks. We had a blast, even with several small children running underfoot. The girl at the counter who gave us our admission was incredibly friendly and polite, and all of the staff we encountered were geared toward making it a memorable visit. Anyways, it’s a great place to go if you have a few hours to spend, and the prices are incredibly reasonable!

I hosted a very large event at this facility. Due to miscommunication on their part before my event, we ran out of the main part of the appetizers one hour before the event was over. I contact them afterwards in an attempt to rectify the situation financially, however, the outcome was not to my satisfaction. Additionally, I did not appreciate the tone of their emails to me.

My kids really enjoy this museum. In a world filled with so much noise and kids inundated with violence and constant action, it is great to have such a peaceful place nearby.

Mediocre museum, overpriced. We went there for the Spring Eggstravaganza, which was really just a big convention where all the vendors try to get you to buy stuff. Make your own bunny trail mix- brought to you by Costco, here take a flyer. Can’t believe I paid to get into the place. It felt like a product show. Even the pieces in the art exhibit were for sale.
