Where are we going today?
The great thing about billiards, is that anyone can play, and you're never too young to learn!
Hot Shots Family Billiards gives you over 9,000 square feet of total family fun. You can hang out together, chat, play some games, and just have a great time! You can play with two of you, or four of you on one of their 20 pool tables. Anyone in the family able to do trick shots!? You know you want to show off a little!
If you fancy something a bit more challenging, you can try the larger snooker tables. These are the big fancy ones you see them playing on television, with the man with the nice voiceover voice. If you can master these ones, you are doing something very very well!
The billiard hall is not only snooker and pool. There are shuffleboards which are a great family fun game, and arcade games lining the walls just waiting to have your name on the highest score!
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a pool shark, they have weekly pool tournaments that you can join. You never know - you might even win!
Another reason you might be celebrating is your birthday, and if that's the case, they are also happy to hold your birthday party there, and you can your friends can enjoy one of their party packages and come and spend time playing against each other on the many activities they have!
Just don't forget - in pool, the black ball goes in last!

Not to sound like a prick:
Hotshots' arcade is abysmal. Their Raiden 2 machine suffers from a loose stick on the 1st players side; their Donkey Kong/Mario Bros. machine (I think that's what it was) wouldn't take a quarter; Ghost Squad has a broken gun and the machine itself is inferior to the one at Cinemark. There's also some new Ubisoft game with an LCD they charge 75 cents for because they presumably spent a pretty penny on it. Were Dachau an arcade, Jews would have more fun there than at hotshots.

Hot shots is a fun place. I mean, in Redding, it's kind of the ONLY place. I always have fun, though, and I've never had any real problems with the staff. Facilities are decent, and the pool tables have never given me any trouble. The community around the area isn't the best, and I've been offered drugs a few times, but other than that, not a bad place to drop some quarters with some friends.

Hot shots is one of the only late night hangout spots in Redding for thos under 21. They have coin op pool for $1 per game and a number of enjoyable arcade type games (Air hockey, pinball, etc)
The hourly pool tables are about $8 per hour. The drinks/snacks are overpriced a bit though.
I like hanging out here pretty well.
