Amazing museum...Great family fun, very hand on and educational!

Great option to visit during bad weather days which is way too often around here.

    We try to visit regularly.

Very fun place to take your little one. My daughter was so amused by all the rolling gizmos and gadgets. She had a great time.

The best! Grandkids, their parents, and the grandparents all loved it. So much so that I bought annual family plans for both our kids.

Took a 16 month old and a 13 month old on a Sunday afternoon. They had a blast! There is a section on the 2nd floor specifically for Pre-K and under and within that there is an infant area. Parking wasn't too bad with a good amount of street parking available. Highly recommend for a family looking for something fun to do!

I took my three children (ages 10, 9 and 3 1/2 at the time) to the Hands-On Museum for the day while visiting family in the area. My son (10) had an amazing time with all of the mechanical boy-things that he absolutely loves. My daughter (9) enjoyed everything! From the huge piano to walk on, to the ambulance - full size - to play in, to the gift shop. She is very science minded and enjoyed the ability to touch things and put science into action. Little, as we lovingly refer to her as (3 1/2), cried when it was time to go. Full-on tears of sadness....Read More

From the huge piano to walk on, to the ambulance - full size - to play in, to the gift shop. She is very science minded and enjoyed the ability to touch things and put science into action. Little, as we lovingly refer to her as (3 1/2), cried when it was time to go. Full-on tears of sadness. The ride home (4 1/2 hours) I was told about how she wanted to move in there and if we could just go back for a little while she would be the happiest child ever. Needless to say, she had a great time. She played in the house, made layouts for her own with the big-kids, jumped in the foam blocks, splashed in the water, made waaa-mbulance noises for over a half hour, stomped on the piano, and played in the little kid room for an hour - happy as can be.
This was by far one of the best little family outings that we have taken part in. They had more fun than I ever thought they would at a museum! Great for all ages, infant to grandpa & grandma.
...I say all of this after receiving my first, and so far only, parking ticket while parked outside of the museum. Remember to take change for the meter or you will owe the city $10.00. Which still is not bad considering how much fun we had :) Made the trip that much more memorable!
