Your summer fun awaits at 900 Galleria Dr in Henderson, Nevada - located just east of the Galleria Mall. There is easy freeway access and minutes away from anywhere in Vegas itself.

From US-95 (I-515) take exit 64B and head towards the giant water slides - you will be going on them soon!

Parking is $5 and $10 for preferred parking. It is included in the Super Pass.

Where are we going today?

Cowabunga dudes - are you ready to make a splash!?  Cool off in the Nevada sun at the Cowabunga Bay Water Park where you can splash, swim, dive and play all day!

Want to know some of the cool rides they have?  Well...it wouldn't be fun if we didn't keep some of the thrilling water rides a secret for when you arrive, but here are some hints.

One of the rides DROP from 73 feet in the air and sends you into a 360 loop...one of the rides goes uphill (pretty cool right!?)...one ride sends you on 600 feet of twists and turns and drops...one ride will send you off into total darkness...and one ride will make you climb the walls!

Intrigued...you should be!

Not all the rides are for the brave, so don't worry they have you covered!  The Cowabunga River lets you float your day away where you can watch the other kids enjoying the tougher rides as you pass groovy surfboards and water features.   You can splash about in the fun splash pools or enjoy the playful fountains in Boardwalk Bay.

The Cowabunga Kids Cave is exclusively for the younger splashers where certified life guards will always be present, and the very cutely named Guppy Racer is a smaller version of the giant racer slide just for those little ones.

If you want to get out of the sun, you can rent one of their super cool cabanas where you can relax for the whole day knowing you can order food and relax from the comfort of your own private area.

Any Top Tips?

I was very impressed by Cowabunga Bay. Still was feeling a bit hesitant as to the water park idea, after having an insanely bad experience at Seven Peaks. My boyfriend talked me into going, however, and we both had a blast.

First, I have to say that the staff at the park is awesome! They have the answers to the questions you ask, and are super friendly. They actually smiled and seemed like they were enjoying their jobs. First, I have to say that the staff at the park is awesome! They have the answers to the questions you ask, and are super friendly. They actually smiled and seemed like they were enjoying their jobs. When I told guest services how impressed I was, they made a point to tell me to email so that my opinions could be passed on to the owner.

When it comes to the equipment, the slides are fun and feel safe. There are no extra charges telling you to rent tubes to use the slides. Everything is well maintained, and it really feels like a play ground as you climb up to reach the slides, vs. just climbing stairs. The dunk buckets are fantastic, as are all the fountains, waterfalls, and other gadgets you get to play with. In another review they said the park was small... but honestly bigger isn't always better. They've made awesome use of a small plot of land, and have as many slides as some of the bigger parks where they spread the slides further apart.

They really seem to have put a lot of thought into creating a fun environment, and in being sure to take care of the customers. Very fun, and family friendly. Tons of kids slides, as well as for the grown ups. You don't have to pay money through the nose like at the other parks for everything from parking, tubes to renting a beach chair. It's just all provided. The entrance fees are less than the other parks, if you were paying out of pocket. We've decided that next year we'll be investing in the season pass, since if we go four times, it's paid for itself. Highly recommended.
