Located in the heart of downtown Missoula, the Children’s Museum is at 225 West Front St. overlooking Caras Park, the Clark Fork River and A Carousel for Missoula.

Where are we going today?

The Children's Museum Missoula is a destination for area families, a place where kids can be kids and grownups can network with other parents and caregivers and feel like part of a community, a community of kids and grownups coming together for positive learning experiences, developmental growth and quality family time. The museum provides hands-on exhibits and weekly programs to kids ages infant through 10.

Interactive exhibits include giant bubble zone, art studio, dino dig, forst, doctor's office, grocery and fishing pond plus elemental play in Waterworks Wonders and the Precipitation Station!

    Beautiful, unique, and varied artwork is housed in a beautiful, unique, and varied building with a donation-based admission that makes it accessible to all. There's always something unique and unusual on display, and although the artists usually aren't world famous they're certainly well-respected and usually very important to the area.

    Always free admission and three floors of art to see, I highly recommend a visit to this museum. The staff is friendly and helpful. The architecture of the building alone is just beautiful. Visit MAM.
