Where are we going today?

Whether it is how you remembered or how you imagine it would have been, enjoying ice cream in a 1920's style parlor is what you will experience at the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor in Le Mars, Iowa. Located at the Intersection of Highways 3 and 75 in Le Mars, this vintage parlor offers a wide array of hard-dip cones and dishes, specialty sundaes (including the enormous 6-scoop, multi-topping "Goliath Sundae"), malts, shakes, phosphates and more! Take the time to sit in our dining area or take it to go, but a visit to our "old-fashioned" parlor will always satisfy your craving for your favorite brand of ice cream - Blue Bunny! Coming in June 2011 - the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor & Museum will move to its new location in downtown Le Mars in the historical Pew building. Museum exhibits will not be available Jan-May 2011 as we pack up and transition to the new location.

Blue bunny offers a I've cream parlor, gift shop and self guided view of some company history and artifacts. They don't offer toys of the factory for 'sanitary' reasons. The stop is quick and there was no host person to say 'Welcome' or 'if you have any questions...' But there were staff serving/selling ice cream who were somewhat friendly and the place was clean and appealing. Don't expect a tour, tour guide or free samples, but otherwise worth the jaunt off the interstate.
