Each January, on the 26th of the month, Australians all come together to celebrate one special day - Australia Day of course!
The day reflects the country's achievements, it's diversity and it's heritage, and what would Australia Day be without lamingtons, BBQs, and a host of family fun!
Why not enjoy some of the fun things to do with kids around the country on this true blue dinkum day?
If you find yourself in Sydney
, then head to Sydney Harbour where kids can watch examples of the world's oldest living culture. The smoking ceremony begins at 7:30am, then throughout the day you can enjoy Indigenous dance, all around that famous bridge.
Other events include the Ferrython, tall ships, as well as live music around The Rocks. Don't forget to check out the Wiggles at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour!
