I agree with all the bad reviews, if there was a way to give 0 starts I would. Aug. 1992 I worked at this place, I was only 15 yrs old. They had me on a stallion, which reared up and fell back on me. This horse kicked me in the head, and drug me. This left me with a brain injury, fractured pelvis and tailbone. I was in a 11 day coma, when I woke my right side was paralyzed. I had to relearn to walk, talk, eat, etc all over again. My family tried very hard on getting help from this company to help me since I was working for them and on their property when this accident happened, but got no where! Thank god for the power of prayer that I am as good as I am. FYI you get hurt here, don’t expect any help from them. I’m sure they care about their horses and family as much add they DIDN’T care for me!

Boarded my gelding there for 12 hours overnight in a bind; conditions were so horrible we couldn’t stay. Rude and careless owner Gary would not refund my money (charged me for the full month), stated it “wasn’t his problem” that I ended up with a horse that couldn’t be ridden for 3 weeks due to injuries from the other 40 horses crammed onto one acre of land, and no where to escape. There is no area to slowly introduce horses into a herd, there is trash and wire all over the pen, no shelter, one water trough, and crappy pen conditions due to too many animals in such a small area, not to mention aggressive animals are not separated from non aggressive ones for human and animal safety.

I have been to this place a few times. Living conditions for the horses are more then disappointing, with NO SHELTER 24/7 in the hot sun, cold, rain, snow and wind. Not even ONE tree!!!!! The trail that they walk more then once a day has broken glass, beer cans, barbed wire and trash all through it. The lady that runs the place is a rude and bossy bitch. She treats her animals, staff and clients with total disrespect!!!! The owner I like. He is a smart man who clearly has the know how to do things BETTER then he does! I’m very disappointed in HIM and the people who stand by and watch things stay the same!! I have reported them and will continue to report them every day!! TO THE STAFF,THE OWNER and THE BITCH I say this: Some People take pride in what they do and how they do it, It should be obviously shown, felt, and seen in there work. You people take for granted ALL you have and it make my sick!!!!!!!!!!! TheMorseCode

I’ve been going there for 3 months now and the riding is great, the horses cared for, and the people incredibly friendly and welcoming. What I like most, is that they ask about your riding experience and you are matched to a horse that is well suited to your riding capabilities, which makes riding fun. What I like most about this yard is that the horses are NOT bored and Gary, Nick, and their volunteers work hard to deliver the riding experience you are looking for. Tanya, their resident instructor, is a great teacher, especially english and jumping.
