About Waikiki Aquarium

It's all about exploring the amazing oceans on our planet at Waikiki Aquarium! Spend the day exploring fascinating exhibits, each filled with some of the most beautiful, weird and wonderful creatures on the planet.

The exhibits, programs, and research focus on the aquatic life of Hawaii and the tropical Pacific. Over 2,500 organisms in their exhibits represent more than 420 species of aquatic animals, and now it's your turn to create memories with the family as you experience this popular Hawaiian attraction!

It's all about seahorses, seadragons and pipefishes in the Amazing Adaptations Gallery, and some of the traits these amazing creatures have are the males are the ones that have the babies!

Kids can learn all about how corals are really living animals that can grow, and reproduce, or Ocean Drifters where stunning jellyfish, and sea jellies - and if you're lucky you might be able to see them eat!

The hunters are out in the Hunters On The Reef exhibit, where the mighty sharks, jacks and groupers are there in all their magnificent glory, and you can come face to face with Hawaiian monk seals - the endangered seal only found around the Hawaiian islands.

It's a fascinating day out giving kids a chance to explore the oceans (without getting wet!), and experience some of the most fascinating species we have on Earth.
