My husband is a huge fan of NASA, space exploration, etc. We went to the museum and also went on the tour. He loved seeing the Saturn V and the other items on display. The tour of the Marshall Space Flight Center was very informative, historical and interesting. I would highly recommend doing the tour though I don’t think it would hold the attention of most kids under the age of 12 unless they are big space fans. The museum has several “rides” that younger children would enjoy.

The price is atrocious, and 90% of the attractions have not changed in over 15 years! I would only suggest that people that are VERY interested in the space program pay for a ticket. On the other hand, if they reduced the price for children, this may be a fun place to go as a family since a lot of the attractions seem to only be appealing to the younger crowd.
