Topiary Park is 7 acres in downtown Columbus, and is actually most famous for it's interpretation a painting by George Seurat. Now, it's also a favorite of families to have a unique experience of walking inside a work of art!
Topiary Park gives families a number of areas to relax, explore and play. There are beautifully landscaped gardens, trails where you can take a stroll, benches to enjoy a family lunch together, and space for the kids to have fun.
Kids will love looking at all the colors of the flowers, and just being out in the sun is always great for them! (Wearing a hat of course!
The Visitors Center is a great place to start because you can check out all of the sites that Topiary Park has to offer.
Did you know that the park actually has a history that spans all the way back into the 19th century? It was actually called Old Deaf School Park! The name was changed, but if you are interested in the history of the park and the surrounding area, you will realize that the Ohio School for the Deaf was nearby!
Topiary Park is great for the community, and often has events that are fun to participate in.
You don't have to venture out of a city to have an experience with nature - Topiary Park proves it!
