About The Discovery Museum

The Discovery Museum really does cater for the whole family with both the Children's Discovery Museum and the Discovery Woods Museum.

First - the little museum lovers from toddlers up to early grade ages.  Here you get three fun filled floors where you can play, learn, and explore!

The museum is set like a Victorian-style house, and every room gives them a new way to explore science-based concepts surrounded by a theme.  There are surprises around every corner, and kids can be as social as they want, or keep to themselves having a quiet break in a nook somewhere.  It's up to them!

The museum ensure that all ages, learning strengths and styles will have something to do that engages their imagination.  Every room has something for every age - even the smallest of scientists will love something - like the colorful murals painted above the change tables!

They are encouraged to explore concepts and ask ask ask ask ask!  The friendly staff are there to answer any questions they may have!

At the very hands-on Science Discovery Museum, kids and their families can learn and understand science with their hands, eyes, ears...using all of their senses.  There is no better way to learn than experimenting, touching and smelling - so don't be shy!

There is a Light & Color Room where both kids and adults can try and capture their shadows (it's not as easy as it sounds!), or how to make body parts disappear!

The Inventors Workshop invites kids to use their imagination and create their own project using real tools - and anything created can be taken home!

Across the year they also have programs and events so make sure you keep track of those so you don't miss out on your favorites!

Science has never been so fun!
