The Bruce Museum is a community based museum with a focus on art, science and natural history within it's annually changing exhibits, plus permanent exhibits that feature natural sciences that relate to the natural sciences worldwide.

Originally built as a private home in 1853, so before you even walk in you can experience some history!
When you explore the permanent exhibitions, kids can really gain a vast educational experience, which is great!
The Changes in Out Land address environmental history, from global to local perspectives, plus additional exhibits on the exploration of the Earth's minerals, human imprints on natural resources, and even the connection between the tides and life!
Kids can also encounter marine creatures in the 500 gallon Long Island South marine take! Crabs, fish, snails and starfish all call it home, and are ready to meet you! They also offer live feedings at the marine tank on Tuesdays and Fridays!
Every Object Tells a Story looks at a number of amazing objects, including a meteorite, to an American Bald Eagle, dinosaur egg and Native American Basket, and what stories of the past they tell! You might just be amazed!
The Bruce Museum features an exhibit on how the planet was formed in the first place, and also connections between nature and the community.
