Owned by the city of Kansas City, The Bay Water Park is where you can spend a great day at the bay - and we don't mean San Fransisco!
Here, the whole family can enjoy a host of water activities for all ages, whether you love the waves, the thrills, or the spills...there is something here for you!
Fancy a surf? The Bayrider will do the trick! Here, you can stand or kneel like you are that pro surfer out on the ocean waves, and enjoy a great representation of what surfing would really be like!
If it's just relaxation you want, the Leisure Pool features a super fun lazy river with endless gentle spins, twirls and just pure relaxation! Maybe you want to ride one of the two giant tube slides down into a large plunge pool.
If you want to practice those swimming strokes, The Play Pool is where you want to be for laps, as well as those workouts, shooting some hoops or even just lay around on the floating lake animals!
But at The Bay Water Park, families rule the pool so don't miss The Family Play Pool! This huge water playground features a number of slides, as well as kid-controlled sprays and fountains AND yes, that giant dumping bucket!
There is even a giant family waterslide which is always a popular option!

Make sure to stop off at one of the local spots close by to fill up before or after your visit.
Any top tips when visiting?
For those under 10, if you want to avoid the crowds and the lines, make sure you check out the Splash N Play held through June and July on Monday mornings. Limited to the first 100 each day!

Just give them a call about field trips and groups - they would love to have the students!
