Literally walk through history at Sauder Village where you can chat with costumed guides all about how families lived over 100 years ago!
During your time at Ohio's largest historic village, the kids can marvel at craftsmen blending skill and creativity in glass, metals, fabric, wood and even clay!
You can stroll around and hear engaging stories, watch demonstrations, and enjoy fun activities whilst exploring historic homes, barns, gardens, and even craft shops.
Take a walk through time from 1803 right through the 1920s as you visit Natives & Newcomers, Pioneer Settlement, and the 1920s Main Street!
It's always fun to take a stroll down Main Street to sneak a peek at what’s playing in the theater, or even explore a grocery store (we bet it's different than what you're used to today!), and even sip a chocolate malt at the soda fountain!
Kids can meet horses at the livery, and explore the bank, fire station, car dealership, and barbershop. Don't miss enjoying a free train ride, or taking the time to meet farm animals, take a buggy ride, and explore the candy counter!
Sauder Village also includes the Barn Restaurant and Doughbox Bakery that offers homestyle food and sweet treats where you can fill those tummies! They even have an 87-site Campground with a splash pad and playground (and a lake for fishing!) if you want to spend more time there.
Enjoy the warmth of genuine, old-fashioned hospitality while making special memories with your family at Sauder Village. C'mon kids, history is waiting!
