The visitor entrance is at 151 Third Street, located in San Francisco’s bustling SoMA district. They are just steps from Yerba Buena Gardens, hotels, restaurants, and public transportation, and their parking garage is next to the museum.

There is a museum store! Store hours vary from opening hours so just check online before you visit, but you'll find a host of art related merchandise, right through to even homewares - and importantly, plenty for kids!!
SFMOMA goes out of their way to ensure the experience can be enjoyed by everyone. The Museum entrance and floors are accessible to visitors using wheeled devices or who have mobility difficulties. Service animals on a leash and under their owner’s control are welcome. If you have any questions on accessibility, just give them a call they'll be happy to help!

Strollers may be checked out free-of-charge and on a first-come, first-served basis. plus single-stall restrooms on Floors 2 and 4. Changing tables are available in the restrooms on each floor. They also allow breastfeeding and bottle-feeding in all spaces.
