The Rollins Museum of Art is located on the campus of Rollins Campus and is a wonderful free admission experience for the whole family.
The museum is home to a number of rotating exhibitions (meaning you can keep going back to see something new!), as well as an extensive permanent collection that spans will take you on an art journey through the centuries. Kids might start their day exploring ancient art and artifacts, and end the day being inspired by contemporary art.
The bulk of the museum's collection consists of two-dimensional art (holding over 700 paintings from the 14th through the 21st centuries which is very impressive!) and over 2000 works on paper. These include prints, drawings, and photographs.
Then you can see the various three-dimensional objects which mean enjoying sculptures, decorative art, and archaeological artifacts.
See kids, art is so much more than paintings!
