Located on the site there are actually traced of an ancestral village, as well as a ranch house that dates all the way to the 1800s. There are even four acres of lush amazing gardens which was developed nearly a century ago!
The Rancho Center is a great place to start your adventure through history, with a film on the area, as well as new exhibits that will take you through the landscape, and people who have shaped the area over time.
It's an amazing insight into the stories of the people of southern California - from the Tongva presence, to the Spanish and Mexican eras, through the farming and ranching era right through to modern development.
