The Gallery, siutated on 40 landscaped acres featuring over 10,000 azalea plants, has had a profound interest in both American history along with American and European art. It has amassed a collection that ranges from pieces created during the colonial period to contemporary works. The museum is, perhaps, best known for its extensive collections of Western American art by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell.
