Well, this two-story federal-style brick mansion was built by the Safford family in the early nineteenth century, and in fact was the FIRST location to be settled in the village of Morrisville!
How amazing is that?
Today, the house and its seventeen rooms and barn all exhibit 19th century life in Morristown - just imagine what life would have been like over 100 years ago - pretty different to your lives today we imagine!
The museum's collection features a number of original historic items, including furniture of the period, textiles, military objects, pottery, and period clothing.
You can also see a range of art, as well as photographs to really tell the story of life in a time gone by.
