We all LOVE maple syrup on pancakes (mmm!) but where does maple come from, and what is its history?
Well, luckily for you (and us!) there is the New England Maple Museum to fill us in on all the sticky details on how maple came to be in our lives like it is today!
This delicious museum in Vermont offers a trip through over 200 years of maple sugaring history starting with the amazing Native American discovery that maple sap cooked over an open fire produces a sweet syrup - and how our lives did change!
Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, this maple museum not only takes you through the history of maple syrup, but also gives you the chance to taste some samples - yes please!
The way to experience the history is via tour, taking you back in time with over 100ft of floor to ceiling murals and dioramas to tell the story, AND the most extensive collection of sugaring artifacts in existence.
Are you excited to enjoy this SWEET family day out in Vermont, and learn all about one of the most delicious food items ever?
We sure are, so let's get this deliciously fun day started!
