Allow 1hr 45 minutes for the walking tours and the tram ride.  Make sure you allow time for the Lawa Stream, and the Canoe Garden which has plants of ancient Hawaii!

If you want to spend the day around some amazing ancient Jurassic trees, then head on over to have a guided tour at the Allerton Garden! (It was one a retreat of the Queen!) Kids will love looking at the vibrant flowers, flowing water and landscaped designed all tucked away in the secluded Lawa'i Valley. These 2 - 2 1/2 hour tours will take you on unpaved terrain, rock stairs and slopes, so it's a pretty fun and exciting walk!

The National Tropical Botanical Garden is dedicated to preserving all these amazing plants, which helps them from staying around on our lovely planet so it's a great way for kids to learn all about the environment and conservation!
