LEGO Discovery Center is a 32,000-square-foot family attraction that offers a highly interactive indoor LEGO play experience where families are free to play, explore, craft, and laugh together. In this next-generation LEGO fun where children can let their imagination and creativity run wild with LEGO® bricks. They can find inspiration in the Creative Workshops led by our Master Model Builders and in the Creative Club, where our Playmakers will help bring their imagination come to life, including a reimagined Space Mission where families can create their own rocket and scan it to send into digital space. We also kept our smallest builders in mind - in DUPLO PARK, children and their families can play and discover, solve puzzles, build with LEGO® DUPLO® and walk along the DUPLO duck pond. The attraction features 12 zones to discover, including DUPLO® Park, Building Adventure, Mini World, Imagination Express, Make Your Mini-Figure, Creative Club, Lego Tree of Imagination, The Lego Café, Heroes Adventure, 4D Cinema, The Workshop, and Space Mission.

LEGO Discovery Center is owned by Merlin Entertainments, a global leader in location-based entertainment (with brands such as LEGOLAND®, Madame Tussauds, and SEA LIFE Centers). The doors will open this Summer of 2023 in Springfield Town Center (6500 Franconia-Springfield Pkwy), located within the greater D.C. area.

Any top tips when visiting?

The LEGO Discovery Center is a place to play, discover, create and have fun together for children between 2 and 12 years old and their families. Each child must always be accompanied by one adult.

We are located in the Springfield Town Center in Springfield, VA which offers free parking, or you can use the metro to get here.

From Franconia - Springfield Metro:
Once exiting the metro head west and turn right onto Frontier Drive. The Town Center is 1 mile ahead.

From I-95 North:
Take 95 North to exit 169A-169B toward VA-644 E/Franconia Rd/Franconia. Continue onto Spring Mall Dr. Turn left onto Springfield Town Center.

From I-495 South:
Take 495 South to exit 57A toward VA-644 W. Merge onto VA-644 E/Franconia Rd. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right onto Franconia Rd E. Turn right onto Springfield Town Center.

From I-395 South:
Take 395 South to exit 1B. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 1B to merge onto Franconia Rd toward Franconia. Follow Franconia Rd to Springfield Town Center. Merge onto Franconia Rd. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right onto Franconia Rd E. Turn right onto Springfield Town Center.

Parking is free. We are located on the first floor of Springfield Town Center, near Grand Court.

The closest parking is on the uncovered lot in front of Yard House and Maggiano's, on the main entrance side of the Town Center - walk into the Town Center and go straight down the escalator and we will be on the left.

The closes garage parking is Loisdale garage located next to JCPenney.
