What is there to do?

Vroom Vroom, get that love for cars ready because we're off to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum!

Just 10 minutes from Boston, located in the 64 acre Larz Anderson Park the Larz Anderson Auto Museum is home to “America’s Oldest Car Collection.”  That's pretty impressive!

For over 75 years the Larz Anderson Auto Museum has been supporting the community through a variety of educational programs, exhibits, and lectures. The collection is also housed within the Carriage house, which was built all the way back in 1888, so history lessons have already begun as soon as you walk in!

Through self-guided tours, the whole family can explore their two floors of revolving and permanent exhibits. Kids can see real vintage automobiles up close, and learn the history of the all!

To really make it fun for kids, during your exploration of the museum kids can participate in their interactive scavenger hunts JUST for them!

During the colder months go sledding or ice skating in Larz Anderson Park, when the weather gets warmer enjoy the Museums 27 lawn events and have fun exploring the park and have a picnic!

They also host events throughout the year, so keep an eye on the website and make sure you put them in your diary so you don't miss out!

Vroom Vroom kids, there are some pretty amazing automobiles waiting to meet you!

Any top tips?

If you would like to attend one of our Lawn Events as a spectator, you do not need to register online or buy tickets in advance. Simply show up at any time during the show’s duration and check in at the front gate for a wristband.

I’m Hungry!

Just five minutes down the road on Newton St is Putterham Circle. Their are many great places to eat there including a sandwich shop and Chinese restaurant! Yum!
