To visit the Indiana Medical History Museum, you need to be part of a guided tour, but no need to book if there are less than 6 in your party, just turn up on the hour during operating hours and then get taken on a journey back through a fascinating time in history!
The Doctor's Office is an exhibit that tell the story of how most doctors began their careers as family practitioners in a small town, treating everything from common colds to even performing surgery!
Then you have the Medicinal Plant Garden, home to over 90 different medicinal plants (and nearly half are Native American medicinal plants!), which is a fascinating learning experience as to how ailments could be treated by nature!
An unusual but interesting trip through a part of history that you might not have thought to explore, but then realize there is so much to learn at the Indiana Medical History Museum!
