About this activity

It's amazing when you visit a zoo, and you see all of the sweet animals that you realize how many amazing (and different!) creatures that we have on our planet!

Indian Creek Zoo is a sweet and fascinating zoo home with animals for kids to get up close to, and learn about!

You might have seen deer when you've been out in the forest, but have you ever seen them up close, and their beautiful markings? You may have seen camels out in the desert, or on postcards from exotic and far away places like the Middle East, but at Indian Creek Zoo you can see them in person! (You can also learn about the fact that some camels have one hump, and some have two! Do you know the difference?

You might have even seen those bouncing wallabies from pictures of Australia, but here kids can see them with their very own eyes! (You'll be amazed at how fast they can go!)

You can pretend you are visiting Africa as you head to the zebra enclosure, and see their markings. Did you know that not a single zebra has the same markings as another? That's right - their stripes are like your fingerprints! Pretty amazing.

There are scaly reptiles to check out, as well as beautifully colorful birds. There might even be cheeky monkeys that you can watch play!

Indian Creek Zoo is a great way to have a low key zoo experience, with the same educational value. Don't forget those cameras too!
