About this activity

It's animals a plenty at Frank Buck Zoo, where the family can have those animal encounters and experiences Texas style!

Frank Buck Zoo is a great place for the family, with new exhibits, programs and events all year round - there is a reason the zoo attracts 65,000 visitors a year. Now that is a lot of family fun!

The animals that you get to experience are all in comfortable, and natural habitat enclosures, and there are plenty of species to allow the kids to really learn about the creatures, and how diverse our planet really is!

One of the most popular experiences at the Frank Buck Zoo is the giraffe feeding. Held at 10:30am daily (weather permitting), it's such a fun way for the kids to see these impressive animals up close.

The events across the year are always great fun, so make sure you keep an eye out for those! Zoo Snooze is always popular, where you can experience the zoo at night. There are tents, crafts, animal encounteres, activities, and even a fun guided tour through the zoo - at night of course! What fun to spend the night with the animals all around you!

Frank Buck Zoo have Halloween events too - the Zoo Boo - which is always a great way to celebrate that SPOOKY time of the year, and around Easter they have the Eggstravaganzas, perfect to find those eggs!

So you see - Frank Buck Zoo is SO much more than a zoo! It's a place where the family can have fun, learn, and importantly - have new experiences together!

Like we said - animal encounters Texas style!
