Be part of American history with a visit to Fair Lane - home of Henry Ford and his wife Clara Ford for over 30 years. It's a family day out in Michigan surrounded by symbols or hopes, dreams and hard work.
Henry and Clara moved into Fair Lane after the success of the Model T, with their ideas changing the world. This was a space for Henry's tinkering and discoveries, and a place where Clara could enjoy her love of gardens.
Friends like Thomas Edison and Harvey Firestone would visit - and now YOU get to visit too!
The home was built on 1,300 acres of farmland, just miles from their birth places, and most of the estate's original structures still stand today, including the main residence
In fact, there are so many historic structures still standing, the home was one of the first historic sites to be designated a National Historic Landmark!
It's a beautiful property to explore, with an eclectic mix of English caste, prairie style, European Grandeur and Midwestern charm!
The exhibits within the home display some of Ford's designs, including two 1920 Fordson Tractors.
So journey through the history books at Fair Lane, and prepare to be inspired by one of America's greats!
