Learning can be fun, and at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History you will experience it first hand!
The museum has a host of exhibits with different themes that kids can really become immersed in. They can learn about the seeds and crops - and how they all work together to create the foods they know and love. Ever wondered what Corpus Christi was like before it became the city is it today? Just head on down to the exhibition that documents they city's transition from an old west trading post! Truly fascinating!
Did you know what the oldest scientifically excavated shipwreck in the Western Hemisphere is? The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History will tell you - because they even have a section of the ships wooden keel and silver and gold found in the cargo! (Little fun fact - it was wrecked in 1554!)
Love space and geology? Head to the exhibit which explores the rocks and minerals of not only South Texas, but the meteorites that fall from the sky!
Kids can take a look at the creatures and landscapes that make up the Texan coast, with an incredible range of shells - from the teenie tiny to the giant clam.
Love the Universe? What about the NANOverse! That's right - rather than looking deep into outer space far, far away, why not look at everyday objects zoomed in up to 500 times! An amazing new perspective!
Make sure kids aged 3-7 hang out in the super fun Kids Zone! Touch tables, fishing boats and a two story lighthouse are just some of the fun interactive activities they can get immersed in!
A super fun experience where they won't even realize they are learning!
