About this activity

Love the thrill of getting out onto the slopes, or perhaps you have always wanted to try it?

Just head to Cochran Ski Area then! Since all the way back in 1961, Cochran Ski Area have been giving kids a great experience on the snow. When they first opened, they were all about children and neighboring kids enjoying backyard training.

Today, they have grown into a challenging ski area with expanded lifts and slopes, ensuring amazing family ski experiences across the season.

Not only can you practice those runs of all difficulties if you are feeling confident, at Cochran Ski Area you can take a lesson if you feel more comfortable understanding the basics first.  They offer one hour group lessons for anyone as young as 6 years, and even have kids adventure camps too!

They also offer SkiTots for those smaller skiers in the family - you're never too young to learn!

Don't miss some of the fun events they hold throughout the year too, including Friday Night Lights, Nordic X or Sunday Lollipop Races!

Are you ready to hit the slopes and challenge yourselves, whether it be with skis, snowboards, cross-country, or whatever takes your fancy?

Let's go, because there is adventure to be had across the Vermont winter!
