It's all about horses at CJM Country Stables, where the whole family can enjoy amazing trial rides on Kauai's magnificent south shore! You get to explore the coast and admire the mountain vistas, and learn about agricultural ranch land! Kids can discover hidden valleys, secluded beaches and bay, and even ride through a working cattle ranch!
There are two trail rides that you can choose from: the Mahalaepu Beach Ride takes you on a scenic journey through the historic Maha‘ulelpu area. Offered twice daily (except Sundays), you’ll get to experience a variety of amazing scenery and terrain!
Within the 2 hours, you get to cross over a sand bar and stream near one of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaiii as kids learn about new native plants and wildlife!
Then, you have the Secret Beach Private Ride (shhhh....!). Perfect for families, this ride gives you "the best" of the others. After an hour riding, you get to dismount and relax as you explore the sandy white beaches. As you play, your trail guide prepares you a custom picnic lunch of tasty treats! Delicious!
With an hours rest, you have another hour of riding to enjoy before you get back to the stables! So much fun!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at CJM Country Stables?
If you select the Beach Ride, you get to enjoy a custom picnic lunch of deli sandwiches, chips, fruit & refreshments! If you select the other trail ride you also get beverages included.
Any top tips when visiting?
Make sure you check in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled ride time!
Does CJM Country Stables have a gift shop?
After your ride why not visit their unique western boutique? they have jewellery, toys, household items, cowboy hats and much more.
