The Bell Museum is located on the St Paul campus of the University of Minnesota, and features a range of exhibits and dioramas to educate all who visit.
Kids can learn all about the animals and people behind the oldest large diorama at the museum - Beavers at Lake Itasca! In fact, this diorama is over 100 years old! You can learn all about these amazing creatures, and how they are among nature's best architects and engineers.
The Life in the Universe exhibit takes you through 4 1/2 billion years of history, from the moment the Earth was formed, to how astronomers continue the quest to find life beyond our solar system.
The Tree of Life exhibit displays examples of biological specimens that adapt to the environment, and even see Minnesota during the last Ice Age!
Journey through the state's biomes, from the forests to the prairies to the wetlands, exploring the species who live in each of these environments, and even imagine the future of the nation!
Bell Museum of Natural History also features a digital planetarium, and offers shows and events that you can join in with, from exploring the skies, to science fun!
