Bald Park State Park has some beautiful ecosystems that you can explore. You'll find coastal marshes, as well as pine flatwoods, oak thickets that all foster a diversity of biological communities that make the park popular for birding and wildlife viewing.
Did you know that every fall, bald eagles as well as other migrating raptors, and even monarch butterflies are commonly sighted as they head south for the winter.

For those active kids, Bald Point State Park offer access to two Apalachee Bay beaches. These are perfect for swimming, fishing, and sunbathing. If you want to actually get out ONTO the water, why not take up canoeing, kayaking or windsurfing?
Fancy some land again? Take to the many hiking trails within the park! In fact, there are over 18 miles of multi-use trails at Bald Point State Park.
Want to play a game? Great! The park has geocaching which is an outdoor game that uses hand-held GPS devices, where kids can learn geography at the same time, AND explore places they have never been!
