Are you excited to explore one of aviation's greatest showcases at the Aerospace Museum of California?
This 37,500 sq ft museum is home to a host of exhibits, hands-on experiences and yes kids, REAL historic aircraft - over 50 in fact!
The museum has on display a whole range of aircraft, both military and civilian, and they have everything from Russian MIGs to biplanes.
The historic aircraft are always amazing to see up close, and can you just imagine the stories it could tell? How thrilling to see a real D-Day Aircraft, as well as an A-10 Thunderbolt, and parents (you will know this one) - a 'Top Gun' F-14 Tomcat!
Without the engines, the airplanes can't fly, so it makes sense that the museum exhibits these important parts of aerospace history too! The engine collection is quite extensive (and grows frequently!), and you can really see how intricate these features are, especially when military aircraft are used to fly hundreds of missions each day!
Also at the Aerospace Museum of California are some interactive adventures too! Kids can take a ride in their Morphis Simulator and fly without having to ever leave the ground, as well as learning how astronauts work in space, and explore the history of flight!
Plus open weekends is the Flight Zone simulator ride, where students from 5th grade to high school can learn to fly an aircraft!
A rich aviation filled day of learning, history, REAL aircraft and a whole host of family fun, all at the Aerospace Museum of California!
Kids, it's time to take-off!
