About this activity

It's all about learning and having FUN whilst exploring the wonders of science at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville!

This fun space for curious minds is a pillar of imagination, and a journey through science. It's a place where people of all ages can discover science together!

Adventure Science Center is an independent, not-for-profit science and technology center which not only offers a fascinating insight into science through interactive exhibits, but as a non-profit they also make sure they give back to the community!

They are dedicated to delivering innovative, dynamic learning experiences that will open minds to the wonders of science and technology, as well as  foster a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Sounds pretty great to us!

The Adventure Science Center is perched atop a hill with spectacular views of Nashville, and their 44,000-square-foot space features over 175 hands-on exhibits (which is pretty impressive!) that are all focused on biology, astronomy, and physics, as well as earth science, energy, and even weather, sound, and space!

If THAT wasn't enough, the Adventure Scienc Center is home to state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium. It's worth noting that the Planetarium tickets are an additional cost to the main ticket and add on prices.

What better way to explore the wonders of the planet AND our universe than to spend a day at the Adventure Science Center. The adventure is already there, now all they need is YOU!

Adventure Science Center FAQ’s

They are non-profit meaning they can offer discounted admission for education, and ensure that as many children as possible can have access to their exhibits!

Guests can purchase food from the in-house Subway and Vega Yogurt and Treats on the second floor, or go offsite for food and return, showing their receipt to gain re-admittance.

You may leave and return the same day, provided you show your receipt to our security officer in the front lobby.

They offer discounts for groups of 20 or more, plus they LOVE field trips and also offer camps! Check out their website for more!

You can bring a lunch to enjoy outside at the picnic tables in the lower parking lot!

They're working hard to break down the barriers to access, whether physical, financial, or cultural, to provide an inclusive experience for ALL of our guests. Their staff-led Guest Experience & Accessibility team is constantly looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience, create new relationships while building a sense of community, and increase awareness of the resources we have available. If you have any questions just email them!

Only qualified service dogs as defined by Title II and Title III of the ADA are welcome in the museum.

Typically, they only offer Sudekum Planetarium entry that coincides with purchase of admission. However, you can purchase a standalone ticket to a weekday show at 2:15 p.m. or Saturday planetarium/laser show at 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., if you are at most 15 minutes prior to showtime
