Are you excited to feel the adrenaline rush on the fast paced Nigara River? Well, you can soak it all up with Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours, allowing you to experience the rushing waters on one of their super cool jet boats!
From either departure point, whatever the tour you'll travel upriver (which is south) and right into th Niagara Gorge. Once you're in the gorde, you'll see impressive 175ft walls ascend from right above the water line!
Then, your boat will make your way into the famous Niagara Whirlpool (it's pretty spectacular!) then you'll head back north through the Class V Devil's Hole Rapids! Hold on tight!
You'll end up in the same location as you started, as the tours are round trip!
All of the tours are 45 minutes in duration, and follow the exact route, and yes, you'll all go through the Class V Rapids!
So, what are the differences in the tours? Well, the Wet Jet vessels are open-topped and EVERY SINGLE SEAT will get completely soaked!
Then you have the Freedon Jet vessel whcih is mostly enclosed, but you have 2 rows of outside wet seating at the front, and these are considered "power rows" so kids have to be at least 13 years to sit here (minimum 100lbs and no health issues).
Adults, you're the only ones permitted to puchase Freedom Jet Wet seats!
One of the common questions is do you see Niagara Falls on any of the tours? The answer is sadly, no. The tours travel upriver into the Niagara Gorge and to the Whirlpool, and the Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal!) to pass through so you don't want to be going through there!

Any top tips when visiting?
On the Wet Jet Tour or Wet Freedom Jet Tours, you can bring 3 things onto the boat with you: hats, sunglasses/eyeglasses, and completely waterproof cameras with a wrist strap.
All of your other belongings (keys, wallets, cell phones) should be left behind. They provide complimentary lockers at all locations where you can store your belongings during the tour.
For the Dry Freedom Jet tours, you can bring small bags and cameras/cell phone to take beautiful photos of the tour!

For the Wet Jet trip you must be at least 44 inches tall (avg. 6 yr old).
For the DRY Freedom Jet trip you must be at least 40 inches tall (avg. 4 yr old).
For the WET Freedom Jet trip you must be at least 13 years old and 100 lbs.
Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Guests under the age of 18 need a parent or guardian present to sign participation waivers.
